To start the year we hope to spark some January motivation into our artist community making work for young audiences, and perhaps see some new great work flourish from our community to you our most wonderful audience soon.
So if you are an artist working for young audiences or thinking of start working with or to this special and unique audience, join our Director Selma Daniel @daniel.selma on @thearkdublin ‘s friendly and informal Artists’ Virtual Coffee Morning organised by @thearkdublin in partnership with @firstfortnight Festival 2022 to hear some facts and some thoughts about Selma’s work for young audience and about her experience on artist challenges and well-being.

Join us for a special virtual coffee morning focusing on artists’ wellbeing in partnership with First Fortnight.

If you’re looking for some January motivation and are an artist interested in working with children, grab yourself a soothing hot drink and pop into our relaxed online get-together for informal chats and an opportunity to meet other like-minded artists as well as some of The Ark and First Fortnight teams.

Though life is opening up and live arts are slowly returning, challenges undoubtedly remain. These online coffee mornings have proved supportive for many artists around the country to stay connected over the past while and we are delighted to be continuing them in 2022.

We are also excited to welcome Selma Daniel as the guest speaker at this coffee morning. Selma is an Associate Dance Artist with Solstice Arts Centre and has over 20 years’ experience in dance performance, choreography and education.

We welcome all artists, whether you are new to work with children or just curious, as well as those of you with more experience working with this unique audience.
