Open Practice
Dance artist Selma Daniel invites artists of all disciplines who are interested in movement. Open Practice is a series of improvisational-based movement sessions followed by instant composition play, to bring a sense of inspiration for artists across all arts forms, growing greater connections and networks amongst Meath based artists and beyond. The sessions are co-facilitated by Selma Daniel and a guest Dance Artist with. The sessions 3 hours long and are designed to provide a space for exploration and creativity, where artists can develop their skills, connect with others, and share their reflexions.

A bit of history...
Meath Move – Open Practice was created by Selma Daniel in partnership with Solstice Arts Centre, as a new in 2022 initiative to bring the community together through a series of opportunities from pre-school children to professional artists, with an aim to contribute to the ecology of arts and as part of audience development plan.
At the core of Meath Move is Open Practice, specially designed for professional artists. Artists from all art forms can engage in Open Practice, a series of improvisational-based movement sessions, to bring a sense of inspiration, growing greater connections and networks amongst Meath based artists.
